ARTA Invites HLAC-Accredited Laundries To Conference At Member Rates

The American Reusable Textile Association (ARTA) is offering member rates to HLAC-accredited laundries attending its 2018 Education Conference. The conference will be held July 25-27 at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier, Ottawa, ON, Canada.

HLAC (the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council) is the nonprofit organization that inspects and accredits laundries processing textiles for hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities.

HLAC will be exhibiting information on its internationally recognized standards at the popular biennial ARTA conference.

“The ARTA educational conference is an excellent resource for those companies that market reusable textiles,” said HLAC Executive Director Regina Baras. “And over the years, this forum has provided HLAC with a great opportunity to demonstrate how HLAC accreditation can give a laundry a genuine advantage over its competitors. We encourage conference attendees to stop by our exhibit to learn more.”

HLAC Board Member Rocco Romeo is scheduled to conduct a tour of Ottawa-based HLS Linen Services, of which he is CEO. Myles Noel, another HLAC board member who also is CEO of COMTEX (Central Ohio Medical Textiles), is scheduled to be among the speakers presenting results of a case study on the use of silver additives to extend the shelf life and kill factor for treated textiles.
