B & C Technologies Hurricane Michael Update

A note from B&C Technologies:

We’ve had several people asking about how things are shaping up after Hurricane Michael since the media isn’t covering the continued recovery efforts. We feel that an update may be in order.  Even though our facility fared well and is fully operational the town itself is still experiencing damage from the hurricane. The most important thing is that we are all safe.  We all weathered the storm and are safe and accounted for, but, sadly we’ve had some of the B&C family that have lost their homes and are living in temporary housing until such time that they can move back into their own homes.  Some members of the family have lost everything and have moved outside of the state to start over while others have spouses that have lost their jobs.

Our area still isn’t back to what it used to be and honestly may never be.  There are businesses that still don’t have internet or phones but are doing all they can to remain open.  There are businesses that have decided to call it quits and will never open their doors again.  We have families living in tents in their front lawns because they don’t have anywhere else to go.  We have families that have lost everything and they’re children don’t even have jackets or shoes to wear to school.

We’re not okay.  Yet.  We’re still sorting through the rubble, trying to salvage what we can, and rebuilding, but it’s going to take some time.  Almost all of us here are still meeting with adjusters and contractors and trying to piece together a new normal and we are so grateful to everyone for their continued support, patience, and understanding.
