Commercial and Coin Laundry Equipment Co. (CLEC) recently completed its purchase of Delta Laundry Equipment Co. This is the second acquisition for the Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based laundry equipment distributor.
“CLEC has been in a steady state of growth over the last few years as we continue to expand our footprint in the Gulf region,” said Craig Dakauskas, owner of CLEC. “Delta has a history of great service under Gary Woody’s leadership and we are proud to add them to our organization, which values the same excellence in customer service.”
Delta Laundry Equipment distributes Speed Queen coin laundry equipment throughout the state of Mississippi. It also has a route business. The company maintains an office, warehouse and parts operation at its Greenwood, Miss. headquarters.
“With CLEC already having a presence in Mississippi, and recently gaining UniMac distribution in the state, Delta was a great fit for us,” Dakauskas said. “We are excited to continue to grow our business in this area and pleased that Gary will stay on and share his talents as a regional sales manager for our organization.”
Plans call for maintaining an office in Greenwood, while centralizing some of the business’s activities to Gulf Breeze, Fla.
This is the second acquisition for CLEC in seven years, as the distributorship also purchased Lafayette, La. based Ebner Equipment.
