OSHKOSH, Wis. — Girbau Industrial’s (GI) HS 6 Series 130- and 255-pound capacity washers work in concert with GI ST-100 Dryers, in 265-pound capacities, to perfectly clean, disinfect and dry healthcare laundry items. Together, they improve laundry productivity and cut energy, water and labor hours.
HS 6 Washers feature durability, programmability, high-speed extract and a freestanding soft-mount design. Available in stationary and tilt models – for simple loading and unloading – the washers are ergonomically designed and easy to operate. Generating extract speeds of 387 G-force, HS 6 Series Washers remove more water from each load – cutting dry time by up to 50 percent, according to the company. In turn, laundry productivity catapults, while utility consumption and labor expense fall.
The washers feature the highly flexible Inteli control, which offers programmability of water temperature by degree, wash rotation speed and duration, water levels, bath cool-down by degree and extract speeds, in addition to 20 pre-programmed cycles and up to 79 owner-programmable cycles.
To guarantee optimum cleaning for every load type, HS 6 Series Washers feature 12 automatic chemical injection signals with programmable time dosing and flush flexibility. The Inteli Control also supports independent flush control, using its side-mounted chemical hopper, and a signal delay for automatic liquid chemical supply systems. The control can be programmed manually on the washer or using the Inteli Manager Tool (IMTx). IMTx is a software system that gives users the ability to custom design wash programs via a personal computer. IMTx saves valuable time when configuring multiple programs on one machine or when programming multiple machines.
Stingy on water, the HS 6 Series 130- and 255-pound washers are designed without a sump, which eliminates the need for up to three gallons of water with each fill. The washers work in tandem with ST-100 Dryers, which unbind, condition and dry up to 265 pounds of laundered goods in each load.
Boasting highly flexible, color touch-screen controls, the ST-100 offers multiple programs and easy-to-use graphic icons. The ST-100 is engineered with Spirotilt-Girbau technology for optimized drying and simplified unloading, and is available in steam, thermal fluid and natural gas. The ST-100’s robust heating system effectively passes heated air directly through the load—removing moisture for a quicker dry. Optional infrared temperature sensors give precise temperature readings for maximum drying efficiency. The ST-100 offers an optional vacuum-loading system for improved ergonomics, flexibility and production. It also delivers touch-free auto unloading.
