James “Jim” P. Gross, founder and president of Ozone Water Technologies / 3E Technologies, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Comprehensive Cancer Center, 
Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem N.C. after a short battle with Leukemia. He was 82.
Gross was a self-employed third-generation business owner of Empire Linen Service commercial laundry in Lima for almost 20 years prior to a consulting career in the international hotel laundry industry and founding Ozone Water Technologies /3E Technologies.
“My brother Michael and I will be continuing the business,” says Steven Gross. “We’ve grown up in the laundry industry.”
In addition to his wife Kathleen, Gross is survived by his three children; Dr. Jeffrey D. Gross (Leila Hale) of Las Vegas, NV, Michael J. (Lisa) Gross of Frederick, MD, and Steven B. (Elisa) Gross of Gilbert, AZ and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Gross.
