Leonard Automatics announced the promotion of Mark Farnsworth to the position of plant manager.
Farnsworth has spent the last 2 years as the lead project manager in charge of fully managing customer orders at Leonard Automatics. This role required him to work very closely with the Leonard sales team and their customer base. The experience allowed him to be involved with the entire life-cycle of equipment builds at Leonard; from the initial sales order, to purchasing, engineering, to production, shipping, installation, and fulfillment of the project.
“The hands-on knowledge that Mark gained during his time as project manager provided him with the tools and experience to start his new role as our plant manager and we are excited to have him on our team!” says Scott Abernethy, general manager.
Farnsworth spent 20 years as chief engineer with Seneca Foods in Rochester Minnesota running unlimited horsepower boilers, water feed systems, compressors -a 24/7 position. Prior to that he served in the US Navy for 6 years as a Gas Turbine Specialist.
