Pellerin Milnor Corporation and Chicago Dryer Company recently held their biennial Synergy conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. The North American dealer network gathered for three days of sales meetings, product line discussions, and the opportunity to network with other dealers from around the country.
Synergy IX began with introductory “Laundry Essentials” presentations from both Milnor and Chicago, followed by a Veteran’s panel moderated by David Chadsey of TLC Tri-State Laundry Companies. During this panel, Scott McClure and Derek Ward of Pellerin Laundry Machinery Sales Company, Rich McKevitt of Steiner-Atlantic Corporation, and Barry Speizman of TLC Tri-State Laundry Companies shared their journeys working in the industry and offered advice for various aspects of the sales process. Dealers also had the opportunity to attend presentations by Energenics, ARCO/Murray, and Tim Barry, Senior Sales Associate at Sandler Training, before finishing with Milnor and Chicago’s breakout sessions. Overall, the presentations offered dealers insight into both current and future projects as well as equipment innovations from the manufacturers, and a fresh perspective on the sales process as a whole.
Synergy IX concluded with an awards banquet to recognize the dealers and sales representatives who distinguished themselves through their innovation and excellence in their 2015-2016 sales. The final award of the night was the “President’s Award,” which is reserved for the top individual in the Synergy network. This year, Milnor and Chicago recognized Ron Hirsch of Direct Machinery Sales Corporation, headquartered in Hicksville, NY, with the President’s Award for his determination, success, and dedication to both manufacturers. This topped off a great year for Direct Machinery, who also recently celebrated their 50th anniversary in business.
