ACWORTH, Ga. – Softrol recently announced that Helmut Harfmann has accepted the position of Vice President of Operations. For forty years, he has been involved in operations management in various companies serving the textile manufacturing and textile rental market. Most recently he served as Vice President Manufacturing and in his sixteen year career with the Jensen Group he served as Vice President Service. His prior experience includes work as an operations executive with Lavatec and G. A. Braun.
“Helmut brings with him a wealth of operations management experience that will help strengthen our ability to service our core marketplace and customers, as well as position us for continued growth,” said Brent Keith, President and owner.
Additionally, Softrol’s sales team has reorganized with Andre Blanc, Sales Director overseeing major national/corporate accounts and Matt Lewis, Sales Manager managing the growing independent market.
Andre has over 30 years in the domestic and international laundry and hospitality sectors having spent most of the time with Ecolab.
Matt is active with NALM, GA ALM, IAHTM, CSC and ITRA and has been a participant in TRSA’s “Emerging Leaders Roundtable.” Jon Kim has also been promoted with expanded duties and added marketing responsibilities as Softrol’s Business Development Associate.
