Honolulu based United Laundry Services, a commercial laundry service, has joined the Las Vegas based PureStar Linen Group.
United Laundry Services was founded by Vicky Cayetano, Hawaii’s former first lady. It serves hotels and hospitals in Hawaii from two facilities. PureStar’s 18 commercial laundry facilities are located in the United States, Mexico and the Bahamas as Brady Linen, AC Linen and Royal Hospitality Services.
Cayetano, will maintain her role as president and CEO of United Laundry and local employees will retain their jobs.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
