Biosan, LLCs OXYCARE Receives EPA Registration for Sanitization of Laundry with Peracetic Acid


Saratoga Springs, NY – Biosan, LLC is proud to announce that OXYCARE has received EPA approval of claims for sanitization and disinfection of laundry with peracetic acid, according to a company news release.

OXYCARE received approvals for sanitization and disinfection of laundry in commercial, institutional and industrial operations including hospitality laundry operations to control microorganisms including Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The no rinse, non-foaming 15.0% Peracetic Acid Sanitizer is registered by the EPA for use in the USA.

OXYCARE is a powerful oxidant and sanitizer with bleaching and disinfecting properties that are gentler on fabrics than bleach, OXYCARE requires less water than traditional laundry programs and saves energy costs with proven effectiveness at temperatures as low as 68º F.
