
Braun has announced the return of their General Service Schools to begin in 2023. All Braun general service schools will be conducted in their manufacturing facility in Syracuse, NY, according to a news release.
“These courses are intended for those individuals responsible for the short-and long-term care of Braun laundry equipment. The objective is to assist our clients in developing maintenance proficiency and self-sufficiency to protect their investment in Braun equipment,” said Sandro Bortoloni, Braun’s director of after market operations. “Now more than ever service and proactive maintenance is of great importance.”
The initial schedule is:
Washers and Dryers April 18 – 20
Finishing Equipment May 23 – 25
Areas covered:
- Proactive Maintenance: Scheduling and Delivery
- Basic Operations
- Print/Schematic Interpretation
- Basic Programming
- Effective troubleshooting techniques covering electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic aspects
- Basic Repairs
Prerequisite:
- A basic understanding of plant equipment operation, electrical and mechanical logic.
Note: Custom service schools are also available. Braun will travel to a client’s laundry facility and train their staff on equipment function and required maintenance. These training sessions are tailored to the client’s specific needs and will combine hands-on demonstrations and classroom discussions.
