Alan Gordon known by his peers as an “Industry Legend” and ” One of a Kind” who served the textile care industry for over 60 years passed away April 21, 2023 at his home in Jacksonville, Florida.
Alan was a member of many textile care associations and professional groups and was a sales executive during his career, for ECOLAB, Diamond Chemical and Gurtler Industries. He lectured many groups on sales management techniques and chemistry and was an accomplished speaker on employee motivation.
In his spare time, Alan was a noteworthy chef, his true love. He is survived by his wife Judy Gordon and daughter Amy Cromwell and son Ivan Gordon and grandchildren who he loved dearly.
