The JENSEN-GROUP reports steady growth with a 6.3% increase in revenue over last year totaling $405 million (338 million Euro), according to a news release.
New products and services, geographic expansion, further recovery in the European markets and continued efforts to become more local have been attributed to this year’s growth in addition to delivery of major global projects.
According to the release, JENSEN-GROUP has experienced an exceptional increase in turnover [revenue] above 50% over the past four years. To support this growth, we have made significant investments in strengthening our organization, expanding our manufacturing capacity and investing in activities to support long term growth.
The company’s recent participation in Inwatec will enhance its market position in areas like laundry robotics, AI, automation and give it complementary products such as mat rollers, mat handling systems and X-ray machines.
To further focus on laundry logistics the company merged all material handling activities into a new business unit, Material Handling and Automation. JENSEN has three business units with operational excellence in Washroom Technology, Finishing Technology and Material Handling Technology.
The company has further developed its two-tier sales strategy with high-tech products from its western factories and single machines exported from China under the ALPHA by JENSEN brand. ALPHA by JENSEN will cater to customers who expect high quality and productivity with a limited number of options.
JENSEN-GROUP’s joint venture Gotli Labs with ABS, a laundry software provider, has shown positive results. The company’s goal is to further develop its software solution Globe to improve customers’ productivity and further develop its offering of state-of-the art software solutions to the heavy-duty laundry industry. The new software takes the industry to a new level of data management, Industry 4.0 and the internet of things.
