SADDLE BROOK, NJ — Global laundry product supplier Tingue, Brown & Co., has named Nathan Mein sales representative for the Texas Gulf Coast region spanning from South Padre Island and Corpus Christi to the Houston metropolitan area and the Louisiana border.
Formerly Brigade Operations Officer for the U.S. Army, and most recently serving as production manager for a textile manufacturer, Mein provides commercial laundries, textile rental companies, hotels, resorts and others with the guidance and expertise needed to specify and install the proper laundry parts and equipment for safe, efficient, quality linen processing and handling. In serving customers in eastern and southern Texas, Mein follows in the footsteps of the revered Donnie Wieland, who retired after 31 years of service.
“Nate brings an important combination of experience both as a manager responsible for training, implementation and bottom line results and as a hands-on worker who likes to take action,” says Jared Addis, regional sales manager. According to Mein, it’s the people that keep him inspired. “The laundry industry is a very tight-knit community and I’m grateful for the welcome and support that everyone has shown,” says Mein, who grew up in the Houston area.
Mein is a graduate of University of Texas at San Antonio and earned a Master of Arts from University of Texas at El Paso. He resides with his wife and two children in Houston.
