Kemco Systems announced the acquisition of Auburn, AL, based dissolved air flotation (DAF) company Water Resources, Inc. The
acquisition expands Kemco’s engineered wastewater treatment capabilities in the rapidly growing industrial markets, according to a company news release.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“This acquisition allows us to better service our industrial clients with a more robust portfolio of treatment technologies for discharge compliance, product recovery and water reuse,” said Tom Vanden Heuvel, CEO of Kemco Systems. “We are pleased to welcome Water Resources to the Kemco family. According to the release, Water Resources has been a leader in physical/chemical separation technologies to the industrial markets with specific strengths in the food processing, industrial laundry and metal finishing industries. Water Resources’ industry-leading DAF technology is a proven and effective process for treating a variety of industrial wastewater streams specifically targeting oils, greases and suspended solids.
