Traci Anelli has taken over the reins at Braun as Director of Marketing upon the recent retirement of Pamela Simonetti. Anelli joined the company in April, 2024.
“We are excited to have Traci join the Braun team as our new marketing director,” said Braun’s Chairman/CEO, JB Werner. “She brings marketing experience from other industrial industries, which is a tremendous asset to the company’s marketing efforts. Pam has done a tremendous job getting Traci up to speed on our industry and we all look forward to working with her to further grow Braun’s brand.”
Prior to joining Braun, Anelli served as the U.S. Marketing & Communications Manager at Marquardt, a global manufacturer of electromechanical switches and switching systems and she spent several years as a TV Producer in Rochester and Syracuse, NY. Anelli was responsible for writing scripts for the evening news, producing live broadcasts, and contributing to station’s website and social media pages.
“People often ask why I moved from TV news to manufacturing. The skills I developed—simplifying complex information, thriving under pressure, adapting quickly, and staying competitive—are highly transferable and essential in this field,” says Anelli. “I also really enjoy working for manufacturers because I love seeing the collaborative process of producing technology and watching the product make an impact in the real world.”
This is not Anelli’s first foray into manufacturing. She led the U.S. Marketing & Communications team at Marquardt, a global automative company headquartered in Germany where she drove internal and external marketing/communication strategies.
“There are many parallels between the automotive and laundry industries,” she says. “Both sectors are embracing advancements like automation, robotics, and high-tech solutions, which are driving innovation and efficiency.”
Anelli has hit the ground running. “Expanding Braun’s digital presence is a key opportunity I’m excited to pursue. With my background in video production and television news, I understand firsthand the power of visual storytelling. I look forward to showcasing Braun’s technology and capabilities through enhanced video and digital marketing efforts.”

Anelli holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications/Video Production from the State University of New York at Fredonia, she studied journalism at Bond University in Australia, and she earned a Product Marketing certificate from Cornell University.
