Prudential Overall Supply’s 2nd Solar Project

Prudential Overall Supply announced their second completed Solar project installed at their Fresno, CA Industrial plant.

The 472 solar panels system is sized for 229 KW and expected to generate 392,000 KwHr of electricity per year. This will allow the plant to receive 60% of its energy needs  through the system. This represents 274 metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalent greenhouse gas emissions savings per year.

“We are excited to complete our second solar project, this one installed at our Fresno, CA Industrial Plant,” said John Clark, Prudential’s CEO. “There are several other projects currently being evaluated by our Engineering team for other Prudential locations. These types of initiatives are important and help support Prudential’s Century Initiative which is our business planning roadmap for the next 100 years in business. The four core areas of our business planning include a focus on our Customers, Employees, Reputation and Expectations. This project demonstrates innovation and accountability for our goal to be the industry’s environmental leader.”
