B&C Technologies, located in Panama City, Florida, is pleased to announce that the company has been in contact with every member of the B&C family and everyone is safe after Hurricane Michael. The company announced in a press release that many team members have sustained serious damage to their homes and are displaced but everyone is working together to begin the recovery process after the devastating hurricane.
“We implemented our emergency hurricane procedure on Monday, October 8 and were fortunate that we did not sustain any damage to the facility. We have power and water back on however, we are still without full internet or phones,” said Mats Bruce, executive vice president at B&C Technologies. “We are open with a skeleton crew and are able to assist our customers through a temporary number. To assist the community in getting back on their feet, B&C has set up machines and fire cabinets to help fire fighters with cleaning and drying their turnout gear. Additionally, B&C has set up a laundry on premise for emergency workers as well their team members.
“We have been very lucky throughout this and are trying to assist our community in any way possible,” Bruce. “We appreciate everyone that has reached out to us to check on us, offer us assistance, and that have kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We are overwhelmed with outpouring of support we have received from our partners and customers.
