Consolidated Laundry Machinery (CLM) offers a wide array of single-door and two-door pass through tumble dryers ideal for hospitals, healthcare and other applications. Available in steam-heated, gas fired and low-NOx configurations, CLM’s true industrial designs are available in 250-lb. to 1200-lb. capacities.
All CLM dryers are available with the removable ceramic coated panels, which keep plastics from sticking to the basket. When plastics adhere to the dryer basket, airflow is reduced, which means longer drying time and more energy use. The ceramic material holds up against abrasion much better than standard Teflon® coatings.
All models have a simplified control panel that includes the MicroCommand III color touch screen PLC, which precisely controls fuel usage and other important functions, including the exclusive AutoDry feature that helps healthcare operators terminate the heat cycle at the appropriate time. This feature, which uses the amount of energy required to dry a load to calculate the heat cycle finish point (not just simple temperature comparisons) , is an advantage for laundries that demand energy savings and reduced cycle times.
If Low NOx and sound reduction are important, the new line, available in all sizes, increases efficiency while reducing both NOx emissions and high and low frequency sound. The dryer includes a two-stage variable speed basket drive.
