EDRO Ozone Systems Disinfect

Before the current health crisis, did you ever stop and take a moment to wonder how many ways our lives, and the lives of others, can be affected by viruses and the bacteria that cause them?
Diseases can be spread, primarily, through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze. However, it can also spread when a person touches a surface or object that has the virus on it. Every day, we are reminded that the best prevention against spreading the latest virus is to wash our hands with soap and water (or hand sanitizer, if you have it) for at least 20 seconds, cough or sneeze into the bend of our elbow and stay home if you are sick.

But what can establishments such as hospitals, nursing homes, and healthcare facilities – that are currently facing ever-increasing risks of exposure to contamination of all types – utilize to help keep its laundry processes safe?  Ozone.

For more than a century, ozone has been considered one of the most efficient virus retardants in nature. It has been used for myriad disinfecting purposes in homes and businesses. When ozone is added to cold water at the correct levels, they merge to become a powerful mixture that can deactivate and destroy the harmful microorganisms that live in clothing and fabrics.

Anything that can be washed in a regular washer-extractor is washable in an EDRO DynOzone ozone system-equipped washer-extractor. DynOzone uses UV radiation to create two types of activated oxygen gas (germicidal ozone and oxidizing ozone). This is then injected directly into the washtub to kill bacteria, dangerous pathogens, and odors. Another benefit of using the built-in, onboard DynOzone system is, because of its cleaning properties, every DynOzone-equipped machine is automatically sanitized when used.
DynOzone saves you, the laundry owner/operator, money the moment you start using it by providing:

· Improved germicidal/bacterial cleaning properties
· Improved sterilization/disinfection of laundry
· Improved cleaning power
· Improved fabric life
· Improved fabric softness
· Improved laundry quality – brighter, whiter, cleaner
· Reduced chemical/detergent costs
· Reduced chemical usage/discharge
· Reduced rinsing/drying cycle times
· Reduced hot water/energy consumption
· Reduced fabric damage
· Reduced carbon footprint

The DynOzone Ozone System has full retrofit capabilities enabling the system to be fitted to non-ozone washer-extractors. For more information contact EDRO at sales@edrocorp.com, or visit the company’s website at www.edrocorp.com.
