Emerald Textiles Appointments


Emerald Textiles, a linen and laundry healthcare commercial business, appointed Don Luckenbach as Regional Director of Operations Across the Northern Territory and Alphonso King as Regional Director of Operations, according to a news release.

Luckenbach will oversee four Emerald Textiles facilities across Turlock, Livingston, and Fresno in California, as well as Reno, Nevada. He will oversee this northern territory along with his current role as General Manager of Turlock, California.

Luckenbach has held several dynamic leadership roles with more than 40 years in the Healthcare and Hospitality industry. Prior to Emerald, Don was instrumental during the acquisition bringing together two of the largest independent healthcare laundry providers in California that joined Emerald Textiles and Encore Textiles Services in May in 2017. Prior to this, Don spent 15 years with Royal Laundry servicing the San Francisco Bay Area. He’s also served the Northern and Southern California Regions.

Alphonso King, as the new Regional Director of Operations, will support Emerald’s facilities and operations across the Los Angeles greater area, overseeing the four facilities in Los Angeles, Orange, Pomona, and Colton in California. His shared vision in high performing operations and service support Emerald’s company-wide growth and $50MM in capital investments made since 2017 in facility infrastructure, technology, people, customers, and service as the largest acute healthcare linen and laundry commercial business.

Prior to Emerald, Alphonso served as Chief Marketing Officer and President of Sales with NanoVapor Biotech in Houston, Texas. Prior to this, Alphonso served as founder/CEO of 360 Managed Services, LLC, a full-service business development and marketing firm. Prior to 360, Alphonso was the Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer at SunShare Community Solar for USA and Canada. In these roles, Alphonso was responsible for developing high-performance teams, strategic vision, business development and profitability through tactical activities across sales, marketing, operations, and human resources.
