JENSEN-GROUP announced that it has come to an agreement with CMAHolding Odense ApS., represented by Mr. Mads Andresen, to increase its ownership in Inwatec ApS from 70% to 100%, further strengthening the Group’s long-term strategy to accelerate automation, robotics, and AI-driven innovation in the laundry industry, according to a news release.
Inwatec, founded in 2009 and based in Odense, Denmark, develops modern, high-end solutions for industrial laundries, with core expertise in software engineering, mechanical development, robotics, and deep-learning applications. Its product portfolio includes robotic sorting and storage systems, automatic X-ray scanning for foreign-object detection, and visual-based sorting solutions powered by AI.
More than a decade ago, JENSEN-GROUP recognized that the laundry industry was on the verge of a structural shift in automation and digitalization. This conviction led to its early and decisive investment in robotics and artificial intelligence, most notably through its partnership with Inwatec. Today, moving to full ownership reflects both the success of that strategic vision and our commitment to further accelerate innovation across the entire laundry value chain.
Inwatec ApS realized a net income of 8.2 million DKK over the year 2025. JENSEN-GROUP does not expect a significant impact on the Group’s consolidated revenues as Inwatec is already fully consolidated from 2021. The purchase price will amount to 11.7 million euro and a potential earn out of maximum 2.4 million euro based on achieving certain performance targets. The purchase price will be partly financed with JENSEN-GROUP shares, and partly with cash.
