PureStar, a provider of hospitality laundry services, announced the acquisition of Cape Cod Commercial Linen Service, Inc., a New England provider of commercial laundry and linen management services for the hospitality industry. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed in the news release.
The acquisition strengthens PureStar’s presence in New England while expanding its ability to serve one of the nation’s premier hospitality destinations.
Founded in 1985 by Jeffrey Ehart, Cape Cod Commercial Linen Service began with a vision and a handful of commercial accounts operating from his father’s laundromat. He grew the commercial side of the business with his father before purchasing it from the family in 1997. Over the next four decades, the company grew into a respected hospitality laundry provider through an unwavering commitment to customer service, investment in employees, and a relentless focus on quality. Today, the company serves hotels, resorts, vacation rental operators, restaurants, and country clubs throughout Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Newport, RI, and the greater New England market.
“Jeffrey and Patrick Ehart have built an exceptional company with an outstanding reputation for quality, reliability, and customer service,” said Brian Herington, PureStar CEO. “Their commitment to employees, customers, and their community has created a business admired throughout the hospitality industry. We are honored to welcome Cape Cod Commercial Linen Service to the PureStar family and look forward to investing in its future while building on the remarkable legacy the Ehart family has created.”
“Every milestone has been possible because of the incredible employees who dedicated themselves to our customers and the loyal clients who placed their trust in us year after year,” said Jeffrey Ehart, founder of Cape Cod Commercial Linen Service. “Building this company has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.”
Patrick Ehart, president of Cape Cod Commercial Linen Service, added: “Joining PureStar allows us to preserve everything that has made our business special while giving us the resources to grow, innovate, and create even more opportunities for our team. I’m honored to continue leading our business into this next chapter and am excited about what we’ll accomplish together.”
Jeffrey Ehart and Patrick Ehart will both remain with the company following the acquisition. Cape Cod Commercial Linen Service will continue operating from its Hyannis headquarters, and customers will continue working with the same local management team and employees. The partnership with PureStar provides additional capacity, technology, and operational resources while preserving the company’s customer-first culture and longstanding commitment to service.
The acquisition continues PureStar’s strategy of partnering with outstanding regional operators in key hospitality markets across North America, strengthening its nationwide network while preserving the local relationships and operational excellence that have made companies like Cape Cod Commercial Linen Service successful.
