Crown Linen, a commercial laundry service provider for hotels across Florida and Georgia, announced plans for the March 2026 opening of its new state-of-the-art, 50,000 square-foot laundry facility in Pompano Beach, according to a news release. The expansion increases Crown Linen’s capacity to support South Florida’s growing lodging market and reinforces the company’s long-term investment in the region.
“This is one of the most technologically advanced hospitality laundry facilities ever built in South Florida,” said Pablo Lucchesi, CEO of Crown Linen. “Hotel operators today are rethinking how back-of-house operations are handled as staffing pressures, space constraints, and tighter margins reshape the industry. Many newer hotels are no longer building on-site laundry at all. This facility was designed to provide both reliability and scale, allowing us to operate as a true extension of a hotel’s team and letting them stay focused on delivering great guest experiences.”
Crown Linen’s Pompano Beach facility will serve hotels throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties – including newly opened properties like Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel and existing properties like Beach House Fort Lauderdale, a Hilton Resort – with 24/7 operations and an annual linen processing capacity of approximately 30 million pounds. Equipped with cutting-edge machinery and advanced automation, the facility will enable faster, high-volume processing, reduced water and energy usage, and provide reliable, consistent service customized to the needs of each hotel.
According to the release, every process at the Pompano Beach facility has been designed for precision, transparency and consistency. All linens will be hand-sorted by hotel account and category, including guestroom, pool, spa, and food-and-beverage items. Wash cycles will be customized for fabric type and load size, with tunnel washers automatically adjusting water and cleaning solutions to provide a gentle, efficient and uniform clean. Every load will undergo hands-on quality control before packaging, ensuring linens meet the high standards hospitality partners expect. Additionally, advanced truck tracking and real-time logistics monitoring will provide hotels with complete visibility into their daily deliveries.
Strategically located in Pompano Beach, the facility is among the largest purpose-built commercial laundries in Broward County, giving
hotels across Greater Fort Lauderdale and neighboring markets, including the Palm Beaches, a local partner for timely, consistent linen management that is essential to daily operations. Together with Crown Linen’s existing Miami operation and multi-plant network throughout Florida, the new facility will help hotels maintain seamless linen service even during peak periods, hurricanes, or other disruptions. The expansion is expected to create approximately 150 new jobs across roles including sorting, quality control, supervision, logistics, maintenance, engineering, and transportation.
Crown Linen operates six locations including in Pompano Beach, FL; Miami, FL; Orlando, FL; Haines City, FL; Bradenton, FL; and Atlanta, GA.
