Ecotex Healthcare Linen Service, a provider of healthcare linen and laundry solutions, announced the acquisition of a new 32,000-square-foot healthcare laundry facility in Amarillo, Texas. This strategic expansion strengthens Ecotex’s ability to deliver high-quality, sustainable linen services to hospitals and healthcare providers throughout west Texas, according to a news release .
“Our investment reflects our dedication to support regional healthcare customers with reliable, sustainable laundry solutions,” said Bryan Bartsch, president and CEO of Ecotex Healthcare Linen Service. “The Amarillo laundry plant enables us to better serve customers in West Texas and provides additional regional plant capacity for increased redundancy, benefiting both new and existing customers in the region. With the additional capacity from the Amarillo plant, Ecotex will continue to expand within the Southwest region.”
North Heights Linen Service managing director Puff Niegos, added, “We chose Ecotex to buy our facility and help us continue employing locals in Amarillo. Ecotex brings scale, industry experience, and resources that we didn’t have on our own as a small single-plant operation. I’m confident that Ecotex will support the local hospitals with the quality, reliability and efficiency.”
