The EDRO Corporation’s DynaWash® DW400 three pocket end loader is now available in a new, space-saving low-profile design. Featuring a 12-inch reduction in height over its predecessor, the machine’s 76.5” high x 94.875” wide x 74.5” deep footprint makes it an extremely compact large-capacity (400-pound / 68.69 cu. ft.) washer-extractor.
The low-profile DW400 showcases several new features including:
- A new positioning disc brake system
- Redesigned AutoIndex cylinder positioning
- A new chemical port manifold
- New re-enforced inner doors
Built to battleship-quality standards, the washer-extractor is designed around EDRO’s patented “3-D” basket design. The unique basket construction lowers the center of gravity of the machine for a significant reduction in vibration transmission. This means a stable washing platform, more washing capacity in less space and a dynamic wash action for outstanding linen cleaning. A long machine life is assured by the use of stainless steel for the basket, shaft and shell wrap.
Improved load balancing and water extraction are supplied by a single motor variable speed drive with exclusive variable step extract timing. The variable step extract’s unique speed algorithm spins the machine faster and faster as more water is removed from the load resulting in less water weight as the machine reaches its highest speeds.
Machine operation is implemented from a new controller box design housing a state-of-the-art DynaTrol HMi Touch Screen Control. The HMi allows for the most specific wash programming, simple operator interface, and full array of owner / supervisor productivity reporting. The control – with 50-program memory – features fully programmable field programming, manual overrides with password-protected security, operation reports on productivity including wash program reports and alarm history & logs, as well as pop-up service reminders for maintenance.
The integrated ozone control grants maximum safety and ease of use of EDRO’s optional DynOzone – DynaWash® Ozone System featuring PowerCell ozone-generating technology. This greatly reduces hot water requirements, while providing high-quality, low re-wash results. The revolutionary onboard system combines a built-in onboard ozone generator with a high-speed machine for noticeably improved washroom efficiency.
