Gurtler Industries Forms Wastewater Division

Gurtler Industries announced that Stuart Davis joined the company as the director of its newly formed Wastewater Division. Davis has 36 years of experience in the laundry wastewater market, serving a wide variety of customers across the US and Canada. Davis recently left GenChem International, a firm he co-founded in 2001, which markets wastewater treatment specialty chemicals. Prior to GenChem, Davis served in progressively increasing leadership roles for wastewater management organizations including the City of Indianapolis’ Belmont Avenue Treatment Facility, Metcalf and Eddy, and AO Services. Davis has a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University. Plus, Davis holds two patents and one pending regarding the treatment of industrial laundry wastewater.

With Davis’ expertise and direction, the Gurtler Wastewater Division has a full line of wastewater treatment chemicals that can serve the needs of multiple industries and multiple types of wastewater treatment systems. Davis has extensive experience in the laundry wastewater treatment arena, and is specially suited to lead the Gurtler business unit in this market. Included in the full-service offering will be specialized on-site service and technical support. The new program includes unique technology that can significantly reduce the volume of sludge generated in traditional wastewater treatment programs, thus reducing disposal costs. Gurtler also provides full support for its customers, helping resolve regulatory, environmental, and operational problems.
