ImageFIRST, a provider of linen and laundry services for the healthcare industry, announced the acquisition of Textile Care Services (TCS) of Utah, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This acquisition marks ImageFIRST’s first facility in the state of Utah, according to a news release. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Textile Care Services, founded in 1988, is one of the largest providers of healthcare linen and laundry services in Utah. TCS is currently owned by Rick Taft, who will remain with the business as the General Manager. Existing TCS customers will be serviced by ImageFIRST as they continue to grow its customer base — creating more expansive linen service capabilities and job opportunities in the area. Existing leadership and employees will be retained as part of the transaction.
