ImageFIRST® announced the launch of their 4th Annual HeroesFIRST Contest where ImageFIRST Associates recognize exceptional Healthcare Heroes who go above and beyond to enhance the patient experience. HeroesFIRST celebrates individuals who align closely with ImageFIRST’s Values – Be Safe, Be Honest, Be Respectful and most of all, Be Remarkable.
The nominations for Healthcare Heroes are currently underway by ImageFIRST Service Teams and Customer Advocates in their respective markets across the country. Twenty exceptional finalists will be selected nationally from the nomination period and entered into an online vote. The top eight heroes (four on the East and West Coasts) with the most votes will receive prizes totaling $16,500 for representing the best in patient experience.
“Healthcare professionals are the backbone of our communities,” says ImageFIRST CEO Edward H. Orzetti. “They work tirelessly to provide exceptional care and support to their patients. As a provider of healthcare facility services, ImageFIRST has the unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our heroes and witness their dedication in action. Through HeroesFIRST, we proudly shine a spotlight on these unsung champions who embody our Values and make a profound impact on patient lives every day.”
Following a nationwide vote, last year’s HeroesFIRST contest awarded the top three winners, with Elaine Moyer of San Antonio, TX being the first-place winner. “I’m glad there are companies out there that are focusing on people that are working hard and doing the right thing…because so many times people feel like, ‘Why do I work so hard?’ But it’s just the peace it gives you inside doing the right thing, really. That’s enough. This is just icing on the cake. I’m blessed, that’s all I can say,” said Moyer.
Nationwide voting will open on Monday, September 16th, and remain open until 11:59 pm ET on Friday, October 4th. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, October 15th. The top eight finalists (four on the East and West Coasts) with the most votes will be awarded prizes totaling $16,500.
