Wildman Acquires Springfield Laundry


Two independent, family-owned companies in the industrial laundry space have joined forces to expand their footprint and service offerings, according to a news release. Wildman Business Group, based in Warsaw, Indiana, announced the acquisition of Springfield Laundry, located in Springfield, Kentucky.

This acquisition expands Wildman’s service area to 9 locations serving more than 13,500 customers in Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, and now Kentucky, with 500 employees.

“The opportunity to come together was driven by years of mutual respect between myself and Jimbo Carrico, Owner of Springfield Laundry,” said Josh Wildman, CEO of Wildman Business Group.

According to the release, Wildman is committed to all aspects of Springfield Laundry: the plant in Springfield, the service center in Louisville, customers, and inviting all team members to stay.  Wildman is dedicated to the community of Springfield, continuing the legacy, empowering team members, and enriching those in the community where we live, work, and play.  Wildman has a commitment to remaining independent to ensure best-in-class service and preserve the culture they have intentionally built for their organizations and Wildman will bring synergies of additional products and services to all customers, providing an excellent customer value proposition and overall growth as an independent supplier in the Midwest and Southern regions.

Springfield Laundry Owner Jimbo Carrico has joined the broader Wildman team, managing major relationships over the Springfield and Louisville locations. Spencer Carrico has also joined the team as Assistant General Manager, focused on production and service.
