Appointments at Whirlpool Corp.

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. — Whirlpool Corporation’s Commercial Laundry Division is pleased to announce the addition of three new team members—Trey Northrup, general manager, Chad Lange, director of sales, service and parts, and Matthew Conn, senior manager, product development and marketing.

“Trey, Chad and Matt bring not only fresh ideas, but new perspectives to the team,” said Brett Dibkey, vice president and general manager, integrated business units at Whirlpool Corporation.

As general manager, Northrup will oversee the global commercial laundry business. Northrup’s experience is extensive, including nearly 15 years with Whirlpool Corporation where he has held leadership positions, such as  director of commercial execution and new business, director of sales and marketing, and director of merchandising. Most recently, Northrup was the general manager for Whirlpool Corporation’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

Lange will be responsible for the creation and development of the global sales, service and parts strategy, implementing business development initiatives that maximize and grow the division footprint. Starting at Whirlpool Corporation in 2000 as an electrical engineer with the Global Product Organization, Lange has since held many roles of increasing responsibilities, including: product business team finance lead, senior marketing and product development manager, and director of sales operations.

As senior manager of commercial laundry product development and marketing, Conn will be responsible for product development and marketing strategy development. Conn’s applicable experience, including marketing and business development, category and product development, and merchandising for both consumer and trade brands within Whirlpool Corporation, makes him an ideal fit for this position.
