Clean’s Education Sessions

Clean 2019’s educational program is complete. Quality sessions will be presented on all four days show days of the Clean Show, which will be held June 20-23 in New Orleans’ Morial Convention Center.

Clean Show sponsors will provide the most comprehensive, industry-wide education available. Each participating association presents classroom sessions relative to its segment of the textile care industry; however, many sessions are of general interest. Among topics covered in the sessions are commercial contracts, business management tips, new textile technologies, and tips for entering the market and how to stay in it.

Many of these sessions are led by business and industry leaders adding tremendous value to participation and attendance at the Clean Show. Clean Show education sessions are open to all registered attendees and are included in the show’s registration fee of $119 for members of sponsoring associations, $149 for non-members, if registered before June 10, or $169 for all on- site. Sponsors providing education are Association for Linen Management, Coin Laundry Association; Drycleaning & Laundry Institute; and TRSA, the association for linen, uniform and facility services industry.

For the first time, Clean Show sponsors ALM, DLI, CLA and TRSA are hosting joint general sessions on broad textile care topics including:

* Social Media Marketing and Measurement

* Workplace Risks of Legalized Marijuana?

* Helpful Business Apps – Beth Z – Your Nerdy Best friend

* Competing in Tough Job Market – Importance of Screening and Training

* Tips for Entering the Commercial Laundry Industry

* #NotHere: Sexual Harassment Prevention

In addition, each association will host morning market- and industry-specific classroom programs and networking events. The entire education program with days presented and session descriptions can be found on the show’s website, www.cleanshow.com.

The Clean Show, formally the World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning, is the world’s largest industry exhibition featuring live demonstrations of equipment so attendees can see and compare equipment and products easily.
