Crown Linen, a commercial laundry provider serving upscale hotels throughout Florida and Georgia, celebrated the grand opening of its new 50,000-square-foot facility in Pompano Beach on Thursday, July 30, according to a news release.
“This grand opening represents a significant milestone for Crown Linen and reflects our continued investment in Florida’s booming tourism,” said Pablo Lucchesi, CEO of Crown Linen. “We are proud to establish a strategic presence in Pompano Beach and invest in a community that continues to grow as a hub for business and tourism. As hotels and resorts seek reliable, efficient laundry solutions, this facility provides the capacity, technology and resources needed to deliver the high-quality service our partners depend on every day.”
With the capacity to process approximately 30 million pounds of laundry annually, the Pompano Beach location is among the largest purpose-built commercial laundries in the region and the new facility strengthens Crown Linen’s ability to serve hotels and resorts throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties, according to the company.
Current hotel partners include Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel and Beach House Fort Lauderdale, a Hilton Resort, among other leading properties across South Florida.
Equipped with cutting-edge machinery and advanced automation, the facility enables faster, high-volume processing and reduced water and energy usage, while supporting Crown Linen’s commitment to reliable, consistent service customized to the needs of each hotel.
Along with supporting the region’s hotels and resorts, the expansion adds approximately 150 new jobs to the area, providing new employment opportunities for residents.
Together with Crown Linen’s existing Miami operation and multi-plant network throughout Florida, the new facility will help hotels maintain consistent linen service during peak periods and other operational challenges. Crown Linen operates six locations including in Pompano Beach, FL; Miami, FL; Orlando, FL; Haines City, FL; Bradenton, FL; and Atlanta, GA.
