Acquired by Alliance Laundry Systems (Alliance) in 2014, Primus offers a full-line of equipment for on-premise laundry (OPL) and laundromat environments. Flagship products include the manufacturer’s small chassis equipment and tumble dryers, hardmount washer-extractors, and the exclusive vended softmount washer-extractor line.
Across all segments, Primus is dedicated to developing durable, reliable products that use less water and energy, are easy to use, and are more cost-effective than competitive models. Additionally, products meet quality standards in four categories: energy, ergonomics, ecology and design, to ensure customer requirements for durability and performance are satisfied.
While Primus makes its official North American debut this month, equipment had been previously sold in the U.S. and Canada for two decades under a supply agreement with another manufacturer. According to Schram, this is good news for store owners, as a solid history of excellence is already in place, as well as capabilities to provide best-in-class Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts, service and support when replacing existing equipment.
